Here is a note from Rich on what is going on with Fleet 104 and their frostbite series:
I don’t think a better day could’ve been had: we had nice steady 8-12 kn N breezes, fairly warm temps once we left the parking lot and got on the water and we had 15 boats out racing. Not bad!
In the JYs , the Priebe dominance returned with straight bullets for the day and Commodore Joe was not far behind. This is making for a close contest and the newly formed team (at least on the water, that is) Larry & Theresa Murphy, are also in contention. We had a new team of Masaki Sato sailing with Maryellen, who I hope to permanently keep on the score board. Despite their capsize and no dry suit, Masaki claims to have had a great time and stayed on the water all day none the less, reminding him of his long past college dinghy sailing days.
